The groundbreaking ceremony for a highly intelligent new factory marks the beginning of a new chapter in laser intelligent manufacturing.

On the morning of July 17, 2025, Guangdong Haigao Laser Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Higao Intelligent") held a grand groundbreaking ceremony for its new factory site on Jintong 8th Road. Mr. Nie Shuibin, the company's founder, Mr. Wang Haoyu, the vice president of the 3D Business Unit, Mr. Huang Kaixin, the general manager of the Glass Business Unit, as well as local government representatives, industry partners, and dozens of others gathered at the scene to witness this important moment in strategic development.

The new plant covers approximately 40 acres, with a building area of over 40,000 square meters. The planned investment is 250 million yuan, attracting a number of laser and high-end equipment companies and upstream and downstream supporting enterprises. The project includes intelligent production lines, an advanced R&D center, and a high-standard talent training base. Focusing on the R&D and manufacturing of precision material processing equipment for laser 3D cutting and welding and glass cutting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 and officially put into operation in 2026. Upon completion, it will significantly enhance the company's production capacity and technological synergy capabilities, fully promoting the innovation and upgrading of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman Nie Shuibin stated, "The new plant will fully implement Industry 4.0 standards, focusing on breakthroughs in key areas such as ultrafast laser technology and intelligent control systems, providing more efficient and reliable laser solutions for customers in industries such as new energy vehicles and consumer electronics." It is understood that the new production line will be compatible with high-end glass cutting machines and 3D laser cutting and welding equipment, enabling flexible intelligent manufacturing across multiple product categories and small batches.

In addition, a joint laser application laboratory will be established in the new plant area to actively cooperate with universities and research institutions to jointly tackle common technical challenges in the industry. Once fully operational, the project is expected to attract more than 100 high-end technical talents, further promoting the deep integration and innovative application of laser technology with traditional manufacturing.

The groundbreaking ceremony concluded successfully with a solemn and enthusiastic soil-breaking activity.
